Summary
PG&E offers a full suite of energy efficiency products and services customized to meet the needs of our customers, including rebates and incentives, energy analyses, demand response programs, and more. For example, we are working directly with manufacturers and retailers to promote and increase sales of ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent lamps, which use 66 percent less energy than traditional incandescent lamps.

PG&E ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebates
Amount: Clothes washers: $35 - $75, depending on efficiency rating. Dishwashers: $30 - $50, depending on efficiency rating. Room air conditioners: $50. Water heaters: $30.
PG&E offers cash rebates to customers on qualifying ENERGY STAR appliances purchased between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2008.

PG&E Residential New Construction Rebate - ENERGY STAR Performance Method
Amount: $400 - $500 per unit, depending on climate zone
Cash incentives for builders of single family homes within PG&E's service area. To qualify, homes must be at least 15% more energy efficient than required by the 2005 Title 24 Energy Code and meet all EPA specifications. more »
PG&E Residential New Construction Rebate - New Solar Homes Partnership Performance Method
Amount: Up to $2,000 per unit
Cash incentives for builders of single family homes within PG&E's service area. Two levels of participation are available based on the degree of energy efficiency achieved. Both tiers require that all appliances provided by the builder must be ENERGY STAR qualified. more »
